Summer days are filled with fresh organic mangoes everywhere in the world.So here i introduce an easy and sweet recipe of mango with you.This mango pola also called mango cake is easy to prepare and this looks beautiful with the original colour of fresh mangoes and it taste amazing .This snacks is mainly prepared in southindia especially in kerala during ramadan days for break the fast.No oven or no steamer is required to make this easy mango cake .This mango pola/mango cake is prepared using a normal pan .So lets make the mango pola /mango cake and let me know your valuable comments in comment section.I am attaching the making video in my youtube channel as well.You can it watch if you want to.
Mango pola /mango cake Ingredients
- Mango puree-1 cup
- Sugar-4tbsp
- Semolina -5tbsp
- Eggs-4 nos
- Water-3tbsp
Method
- Slice and chop mango.
- Take a blender and add this fresh mango inside and grind into a paste.no need to add water .This must cameout in a smooth texture.No lumps .
- Take a large bowl.
- Add prepared fresh mango puree ,Sugar,Semolina ,Eggs and water as per above mentioned volume.
- Grind the all ingredients into a smooth paste .Make sure that no lumps are formed.
- Take a cake bowl or a plate to make this mango pola.Greece it with some ghee or oil.
- Pour the prepared batter into this and spread the batter all along the sides by a spoon and tap 3 times to reach every single portion of the plate.
- Heat a pan and place a ring stand inside .next place the mango pola batter above the stand .
- Slow cook about 20 to 25 minutes by closed with a lid .
- At First the mango cake/mango pola raise little then it move back to its shape .Then you can understand that its done cooking.
- Take out the cake bowl from pan and allow to cool in room temperature first and then allow to cool in refrigerate about 30 minutes .
- later serve the tasty super easy and yummy mango pola/ango cake .have fun.
